Flexible inputs in bargraph temperature
controller

PRO Series bargraph temperature controllers have new features which may be accessed through front panel program buttons, or through a serial communications port on the rear of the instrument.

The new PRO Series programmable temperature controllers released by Vydas International Marketing are manufactured by Ametek/Dixson Inc of Colorado USA who are well known world wide for their approved designs in nuclear, military and vehicle display systems Flexible input configurations caters for temperature measurement with RTDs or thermocouples type E, J, K, T

Inputs for current and voltage are also available.

The products are suited to applications in electrical power plants, chemical, water and sewerage processing, oil/gas distribution, metals/minerals, pulp/paper, pharmaceutical processes, agricultural as well as many OEM applications.

The design offers a wide range of options and has the benefit of PC programmability, alarm set points, analogue/digital retransmission and serial communication.

All models offer high resolution and accuracy, are rugged, tolerant of vibration and shock and are specified to min 85,000 Hour MTBF.

This innovative product line has the advantage of immediate trend recognition through a 51/101 segment bright coloured "readable" LED array and optional 4 place digital display for high accuracy.

Instruments are available for direct replacement of existing horizontal, vertical and circular switchboard meters as well as in standard DIN size packaging.

The new features may be accessed through front panel program buttons, or through a serial communications port on the rear of the instrument.
