Walker Research has launched its ESD series of low cost pressure switches and 4-20mA transmitters, specifically designed to measure differential and gauge pressure of inert fluids across a wide range of applications.
The use of special adapters ensures that devices can be easily mounted directly onto any 'leading' manufacturers' filter housings, where normally a differential pressure gauge would affix.
Switch devices are available across a range of pressures with multiple switch points.
Transmitter devices are available in multiple formats: differential, gauge, differential and gauge, all in an extensive line of pressure ranges.
Fitting the dual sensing model, Walker Research's flagship product, to an X1 high efficiency filter ensures that diagnostic data from the differential pressure sensor can be checked against the gauge pressure sensor and guarantees continuous monitoring integrity across that and any specific part of the system.
Devices can be pivoted so either the inlet operating pressure or the outlet pressure can be monitored.
Ideal when both operating pressures and differential pressures can have a costly impact on business.
Used in conjunction with other ESD products guarantees that continuous monitoring across the whole system is easily achievable.
ESD transmitters all use a 4-20mA-technology platform, which is the most popular vehicle for data transmission in controls and instrumentation.
It means that users can remotely monitor their applications.
Users can integrate device signals into their control panel or use data acquisition software to interrogate data and set their own alarms to manage their filtration and energy costs based around their own compressed air system parameters.
These devices are ideal for organisations that need assured low cost continuous monitoring.
All models cover a wide array of applications; and with a durable IP65 rated enclosure, are built to withstand the arduous conditions of process and industrial environments.
Models can operate in static pressure conditions up to 300 PSI (21 bar).
Differential sensing models carry a rated accuracy of 0.5%.
A customising and labelling service is available for OEM and volume customers.
