The LinkRunner network multimeter is a useful aid for front-line technicians in their defence against network trouble.

The LinkRunner is an essential personal tool which quickly verifies network connectivity and availability.

The LinkRunner improves troubleshooting and escalation accuracy by helping to quickly identify whether a problem is in the network or the PC network interface card (NIC).

It performs essential tests and assists in solving issues in the physical and link layers, the source of 80% of network problems.

The LinkRunner quickly performs tests on all the necessary levels.

On the link layer it determines whether the drop is active, identifying its speed, duplex capabilities and service types.

It also determines whether the cable length is within specifications, what type it is and whether it has any faults: These tests, which work for both structured and patch cables, eliminate the need for a separate cable tester.

Finally, the LinkRunner verifies connectivity to key network resources and determines whether a PC NIC is responding.

All of this testing is done quickly and efficiently by one handy piece of kit.

The new LinkRunner is available in standard format, or as an extended kit including all available accessories and the custom carrying case.
