The new CBPC-3590 is designed to work with packaged clutch brakes commonly used in luggage pusher equipment.

New from Warner Electric is the 3590 CBPC clutch brake positioning control for closed-loop control operation in baggage handling applications.

The new CBPC-3590 is designed to work with packaged clutch brakes commonly used in luggage pusher equipment.

It directly replaces Warner Electric's CBC-1500-AHFC model and features several enhancements.

For example, the single-board microprocessor-based design greatly simplifies and speeds initial setup.

An internal display and keypad prevents unauthorised access to settings.

A fault notification feature includes an offline relay option.

And an optional addon board accommodates extreme cycle rates and precision starts and stops.

The new CBPC-3590 has the same mounting footprint and cable hook-up as the original CBC-1500-AHFC model and operates to the following specifications.

Input power is 120V AC, +/- 10%, 50-60Hz, single-phase at 300VA maximum.

The output is adjustable from 0 to 90V DC pulsewidth modulated full wave rectified DC via keypad at 1A per channel maximum; and the output frequency is adjustable between 60 and 400Hz using the same keypad.

Both positioning and stopping accuracy are specified at better than +/-4 degrees.
