The new LPF-8 from Warner Instruments is a high quality signal conditioner combining an eight-pole lowpass Bessel filter with a DC amplifier.

The new LPF-8 from Warner Instruments is a high quality signal conditioner combining an eight-pole lowpass Bessel filter with a DC amplifier.

Applications include signal conditioning for the biomedical, medical, electrical engineering, physics, seismic analysis, vibration analysis, industrial process control and general laboratory environments.

Special features of the LPF-8 include digital frequency readout, visual input offset, clipping indicator and gain telegraph outputs.

A unique circuit design uses no mechanical switching insuring extremely long term reliability.

The cutoff frequency is dialed up using a single rotary control in two ranges.

The full frequency range spans 0.1Hz to 20kHz in a resolution of 0.1 or 10Hz, depending on the range selected.

The bypass switch selects full amplifier bandwidth for comparison of filtered and unfiltered signal.
