Hydra-Cell Industrial Pumps, Wanner Engineering, introduces heavy-duty industrial pumps for chip board manufacturing.

These seal-less pumps provide accurate, dependable dosing of phenyl resins and waxes to chip board blenders at pressures up to 2500 psi and flow to 37 gpm.

These rugged pumps easily handle viscous products, develop high pressures, provide excellent metering capabilities, and can run dry without damage.

They are available in a variety of construction materials based on the specific requirements of a given chip board manufacturing application.

In the process of manufacturing Oriented Strand Board (OSB) for building construction, wood strands are cut to a controlled length, width and thickness.

These strands are then mixed with a phenyl resin liquid adhesive whose heat and thick consistency can lead to the breakdown of many conventional pumps.

The seal-less Hydra-Cell design eliminates troublesome cups, packings and seals, resulting in fewer problems, less maintenance, and longer pump life.
