Watlow has introduced the Silver Series: a graphic, touch-screen operator interface terminal (OIT).
This OIT is designed for equipment manufacturers and end users who want to provide an integrated and customised interface for their equipment.
The Silver Series touch-screen operator terminal is designed for equipment manufactures and end users wanting to provide an integrated and customised interface
The Silver Series offers two models (7in and 10in diagonal display sizes) supporting a full set of features, including serial and Ethernet communications with multiple controllers.
Other features include more than 30 drivers for communicating with Watlow and third-party devices, USB, SD card, data logging, flexible password security and multi-language support.
The Silver Series programming software, Easybuilder5000, features a variety of built-in screen objects.
Screens are said to be simple to create and users can set up libraries of their own objects for repeat use.
It comes complete with an online simulator and the Ethernet port speeds up testing and downloading.
The Silver Series operator interface can be paired with Watlow controllers to solve industrial process or machine control application problems, according to the company.
