The 720 series of cased pumps includes single-channel flows up to 2000 litres an hour, or a maximum of 4000 litres an hour through two individual tubes.

Watson-Marlow Bredel is launching the 720 series of cased pumps, offering the perfect solution for printing, water/waste treatment and general industrial metering or transfer duties.

Featuring a smaller footprint than other pumps with a similar flow rate, the new 720 series includes single-channel flows up to 2000 litres an hour, or a maximum of 4000 litres an hour through two individual tubes.

The 720 provides robustness and reliability for accurate chemical metering or industrial transfer duties.

Corrosion-resistant IP66 casework resists the harshest environments and the 36% more efficient brushless DC motor provides the reliability for a five-year warranty.

Joining the lower flow rate 520 and 620 series pumps, all industrial control needs are catered for by the new 720 pumps.

Users can upscale knowing that control and functionality is shared across the range of pumps so no further operator training is required.

The 720 pumps feature Watson-Marlow Bredel's LoadSure pumping elements which use industry standard Cam and Groove connectors to provide long tube life through perfect tube loading every time.

LoadSure provides one-minute-maintenance as only the pumping element needs changing, a job which takes less than one minute and no specialist skills.

Additionally, if a joint-free fluid passage from source to delivery is required, continuous tubing models are available.

As with all Watson-Marlow Bredel pumps, 720 pumps are self-priming and dry running and the pumped fluid is completely contained within the tube.

Entrained gas and abrasive solids can be pumped with ease, bringing huge advantages over diaphragm pumps.

Mike Sullivan marketing manager at Watson-Marlow Bredel Pumps, says: "Our customers' time is important to us and as a result we are constantly striving to design products that reduce downtime".

"Reduced downtime and reduced operating costs mean increased productivity, which all adds up to the Watson Marlow Bredel's message of value for 'life'".
