A new lubricant that reduces friction and wear on moving parts has been launched by 3-In-One, the cleaning and lubricating brand The 3-In-One High Performance Lubricant - which is one of the latest new products in the extended 3-In-One Professional range - largely aimed at the engineering trade

Its advanced PTFE synthetic formula provides lubrication and corrosion protection under extremes of temperature, pressure and motion, claimed the company.

With what is described as an extremely high concentration of PTFE, the new formula is claimed to dramatically reduce friction and wear on moving parts, so extending the life of equipment and tools.

The company said that the lubricant's uses are wide ranging with winches, wire rope, pulleys, conveyors, hydraulics, axles, bushings, manual and power tools and linkages among the key areas.

As well as providing long-lasting lubrication and corrosion protection it will also drive out moisture and is safe to use on all metal and non-metal surfaces including wood, vinyl, rubber, glass and most plastics.

It can be used at operating temperatures from -45 degrees C to 235 degrees C, claimed the company.

High Performance Lubricant has been launched alongside the new Heavy Duty Cleaner Degreaser and an Anti-Seize Copper Grease.

Added to the original range consisting of a White Lithium Grease, Silicone Spray Lubricant and High Performance Penetrant, they now form the basis of a core specialist lubricant and cleaning category for the majority of professional requirements, believes the company.

Available in a 400ml spray can, the High Performance Lubricant retails from around GBP 6.49.
