The new WDS catalogue, the UK's largest source of standard parts and production equipment, has doubled in size for its latest issue from 300 to 600 pages.
The new WDS catalogue, the UK's largest source of standard parts and production equipment, has doubled in size for its latest issue from 300 to 600 pages.
The catalogue, which is available in paper, CD or web format contains new ranges of hydraulic workholding equipment, VDI tooling, spindle nose tooling, broaches, transmission components, pneumatic accessories, fasteners, adhesives and much more.
The WDS catalogue covers over 10,000 standard parts and items of production equipment, from machined profiles and advanced hydraulic clamping systems to threaded fittings clamps hinges and fasteners.
Jon Walker, WDS Marketing Operations Manager explains the focus for the new catalogue "with so many products, one of our most important jobs is to present the customer with the right information in the right format.
We begin with a quick photographic reference for every product in the catalogue and then go on to list variants and technical specifications, the website offers more functionality, but the paper catalogue and CD's still remain very popular".
Designers and production engineers will find the CD and web site particularly useful, as all the workholding equipment and components, from knobs and levers to hand wheels and hinges are available as.dxf files with order codes attached, for easy integration into CAD drawings and plan diagrams.
Dimensional line drawings of production tools such as hand presses and vices can also be downloaded to allow for the exact checking of footprint area and fitting.
Previous application examples of a wide range of WDS products are also available for reference, to help anyone using a product for the first time or in a new project.
All the new products being introduced are now in stock at WDS, enabling orders to be dispatched same day for next day delivery as standard.
