A new series of manual toggle clamps provides fast and accurate fixing of components to all types of work surface.

WDS has introduced a series of four manual toggle clamps for fast and accurate fixing of components to all types of work surface.

The range features a quick and easy clamping mechanism that can offer up to 450kg of holding force from a single unit.

Added benefits include an easily modifiable clamping arm for all bespoke milling, drilling, grinding and fabrication applications.

Ideal for short to medium production runs of components, the adjustable toggle clamps offer many of the benefits of automatic clamping systems at a fraction of the cost.

They also save time over traditional screw based fixing methods and improve repeatable accuracy through guaranteed re-location.

Using a manual toggle clamp system also allows for quick release in one swift motion.

The long arm maximises the possible holding forces, up to 450kg, which can be manually adjusted to account for varying sizes and different materials via a ball handled thread screw.

Three designs are available for mounting horizontally, vertically and on the edge of jig plates.

All three designs feature a steel bar to provide the downward force, which can easily be modified in-house to clamp a wide variety of different shaped components.

WDS has also introduced a version with an extending rod and end plate design for operations that require force to be applied across a horizontal plane.

Ideal for milling, drilling, grinding and fabrication applications, the clamps can be used in series to securely hold large components and material sections against fixed end plates.
