Major capital investment at East Anglian Galvanizing's facility is set to increase capacity, improve quality and provide customers with an enhanced, premium service In this major drive to upgrade this Peterborough-based facility, the first phase of the investment will see an upgraded crane system to give improved handling and process control thus ensuring a perfect galvanised finish

East Anglian Galvanizing's Commercial Manager, Selwyn Parish, comments: "Our experienced workforce has an unrivalled knowledge of the galvanising marketplace - this added to the forthcoming investment in the plant means an offer of exceptional quality and service that will be extremely hard to match".

East Anglian Galvanizing also offers its customers unrivalled customer service and fast and efficient door-to-door collection and delivery which is reflected in the fact that its customer base spans a radius of over 50 miles.

As part of the nationwide Wedge Group Galvanizing, East Anglian Galvanizing can also offer customers a service covering the whole of the UK.

Steve Milnes, General Manager, East Anglian Galvanizing, says: "As part of the nationwide Wedge Group Galvanizing, we are in the fortunate position of being able to respond quickly to customer demand, and one of the ways of doing this is by investing promptly in new equipment.

Planning work on the crane system is underway with this first phase of investment to be implemented in late September 2002".

Typically, items galvanised at East Anglian Galvanizing include a wide range of structural and tubular fabrications, forgings and presswork and smaller components such as threaded fasteners, nuts and washers.
