The HDC RailMate combines a heavy-duty power and signal connector with the functionality of a control cabinet rail-mounted terminal and the ease of use of a tool-free snap-in connection.

With the clever design incorporating Weidmuller's proven industrial power and signal ConCept connection series, users can configure their own number of poles and pre-assemble them prior to making a space-saving mounting on a TS 35 rail.

The HDC RailMate comprises a rail-mounting baseplate which is adjustable for size to take the female connector frame of the ConCept heavy duty connector.

The female frame and the male frame can be wired away from the cabinet, and snapped into place as required.

This simplifies direct wiring, saves cable space, enables cables to be correctly installed and marked prior to installation for increased safety and makes a very stable connection.

Weidmuller's ConCept series of modular heavy-duty connectors can be customised to the configuration and number of poles required for specific power and signal applications.

The 24 different male and female modules in the ConCept range provide a choice of crimp or tension clamp connection technology to suit assembly and installation requirements.

Low cost HE crimps contacts offer combinations of three to 20 poles per module.

Vibration proof rapid installation tension clamps are four poles per module and the frames accept two, three, five and seven modules to make many combinations.
