Crimping tools require less work
Weidmuller's new PZ and HTO ranges of crimping tools cover a comprehensive range of ferrules, lugs, blade, coaxial and optical fibres connectors.
Weidmuller's range of new PZ and HTO crimping tools cover a comprehensive range of ferrules, lugs, blade, coaxial and optical fibres connectors.
The new ergonomic, ratchet-operated fatigue-reducing designs require 20% less manual force to produce 20% more crimp force.
The range of 14 tools is detailed in a new 8-page brochure.
The Weidmuller crimping tool range includes five for general ferrule crimping with ranges from 0.25 to 16mm2.
Three models need only one crimp profile for their individual range, two offer three or five profiles for high precision work; side entry, front entry and a rotatable side/front entry model is included.
More specialised Weidmuller crimping tools include models for Weidmuller heavy-duty RSV and DSTV-HD contacts, for bladed ferrules with open or rolled crimp barrels, sub-D contacts, coaxial connectors (eg BNC, TNC and N connectors) for 1mm diameter optical fibres (5mm diameter sleeve) and for insulated and noninsulated cable lugs.
All Weidmuller crimping tools meet DIN41641 Part 1 standards, and undergo 50,000 crimping cycle testing.
Constructed from the best hardened tool steels for long life and accuracy, they each use the Weidmuller patented spring combination for even force distribution.
