The easy to use software enables the user to select and assemble a complete terminals rail, view it and produce a bill of materials for ordering and manufacture, thus saving time and helping eliminate errors in specification.

The Raildesigner software produces a photorealistic display, allowing the user to put together the terminals and other products from the Weidmuller range as if the rail was being assembled by hand.

Rapid selection of terminals and accessories from the article libraries is aided by the Windows style, easy, drop-down menu type operation.

Once a terminal assembly has been designed, a bill of materials can be automatically output for transmission to the distributor or manufacturer.

The export/import interface also enables transfer of information to other systems.

The user may also print out a copy of the assembly for production or record purposes.

Operation of the software is simple, and can be quickly learnt through a self-study multimedia pack.

Updates and new product information are sent to registered users from Weidmuller as they are issued, or can be down loaded from Weidmuller's website.
