The new rail-mounted Plugrelay offers installation cost savings with high power switching up to a 4kVA resistive load, and automation engineering applications loads as low as 40uW.

The new rail-mounted Plugrelay, part of Weidmuller's Plugseries family, offers installation cost savings with high power switching up to a 4kVA resistive load, and automation engineering applications loads as low as 40uW.

With a choice of commercially available plug-in relays to suit the application, the Plugrelay unit is available in a choice of screw clamp or spring clamp connection technologies and has pluggable cross-connectivity for reduced wiring costs.

The modular design is user friendly, with optional plug-in free wheel diodes with LED status indication, plug-in relays with a robust locking/release lever and crossconnection between products from the same family to common coil connection contact wipers between relay modules.

A choice of one or two changeover contacts is also available.

The clip-on base, electronics module and ZQV cross connects are shared across the Plugopto and Plugrelay families.

This ensures cost savings in wiring time, and a compatibility of parts, independent of the switching technology used.

The Weidmuller Plugrelay is available with both DC and AC coils, and a maximum switching capacity up to 16A.

The Plugrelay is available with a selection of accessories, including the WS10 marking system and ZQV cross connectors.
