Trying to tighten or loosen M12 and M8 cable connections under harsh industrial conditions with poor access will be a nightmare of the past thanks to Weidmuller's innovative new Screwty tool.

The Screwty comprises an ergonomically designed, insulated handle and 5mm shaft which drives a ratchet binder, to grip the connection.

This gives the engineer extra reach and leverage that, with the slim head, avoids the need to insert fingers or a wrench, thus improving safety and reducing the chance of an accident.

The Weidmuller Screwty is the world's first tool to allow engineers quicker, more effective installation and removal of M12/M8 connections.

Four ratchet heads are available, to match screw or extruded cable M12 or M8 connectors, and the tool will facilitate maintenance and test procedures, thus reducing downtime.
