The new SAI-M8 inline passive integrator meets customer demand for a slim M8 integrator.

Following the success of its innovatively shaped SAI-M8 sensor-actuator integrator Weidmuller has introduced the new SAI-M8 inline passive integrator, to meet customer demand for a slim M8 integrator.

The small cross-section and range of channel options makes the SAI-M8 inline easy to install with a wide range of process and industrial equipment.

The cross-section of the "fixed cable" models of Weidmuller's SAI-M8 inline is 18.2mm high by 24mm wide, and the M12 plug-in connector model is 23mm high including the M12 plug socket.

Despite these compact dimensions, each channel is permanently numbered, with two LED indicators per channel, designated A and B and there is space for personalised marking of each channel.

A choice of four-, six- and eight-channel distributors is available in four-pole distribution units, whereas four, six, eight, 10 or 12 channels are available in the three-pole distribution unit.

Weidmuller's SAI-M8 has a fixed cable of 5 or 10m with other cable lengths are available on request.

All models are rated to IP67, to withstand harsh industrial conditions.

The Weidmuller SAI-M8 inline is rated to 2A per contact and 24V DC.

It is manufactured in rugged, impact resistant thermoplastic with a flammability class UL94V0.
