Designed for accurate and efficient screw tightening, Weidmuller's innovative DSM torque screwdriver range ensures installers can meet set quality standards and protect expensive components Features of the Weidmuller DSM torque screwdrivers include reversible, insulated or uninsulated bits with slot, Phillips or Pozidrive cross heads, easy read torque scale indication and ergonomic insulated thermoplastic handles for ease of working

The orange and black DSMI handle is VDE approved and, with the VDE approved insulated bits, offer the required safety up to 1000V AC/1500V DC.

The grey and black DSM handle and uninsulated bits are suitable for a wide range of general tasks.

Each Weidmuller DSM torque screwdriver handle is available in two torque ranges, either 0.5 to 1.7 or 2.0 to 8.0Nm, with the handle size changing to match the torque range.

The handles are made in high strength polypropylene, and finished in nonslip SoftFinish thermoplastic for maximum grip comfort.

The DSM bits are made of chrome vanadium molybdenum steel and are reversible, to allow either a short or long reach for the bit.

Each bit is marked with its maximum permissible torque - 0.6 to 3.8Nm (slot head) and 0.9 to 5.5Nm (Phillips and Pozidrive cross head) for a selection of sizes.

New bits can be purchased separately.

Torque limits are indicated by an audible click from the slipping clutch, this can also be felt through the handle.

When loosening a screw, the torque is approximately 50% higher than when tightening, in order to compensate for seized screws.

A special torque adjustment tool ensures that permitted limits are not altered by mistake.

Each Weidmuller DSM torque screwdriver is 100% individually factory tested, and handle and bits identified by an individual number for verifiable quality control.

All the tools comply with EN ISO6798, BS EN26789 and ASME B107.14M.
