Widgets expose acquired data
WebDock Widgets allow users to view data and server statistics from any DataPort server on a network.
WebDock has released Desktop Widgets for manufacturing Widgets are tiny programs (around 64Kbyte) that sit on the desktop and display data
Users can make them stay on top of all other windows "float", make them transparent and much more.
The WebDock Widgets allow users to view data and server statistics from any DataPort server on a network.
This means users do not have to have an OPC server or DataPort on the local machine.
The WebDock Widgets use open-standards XML based communications to talk to the DataPort XML server over the network.
A developers kit is also available for free that shows developers and end users how to make their own Widgets to work with DataPort.
