West Group introduce improved Silencer range

The West Group have announced significant additions to their range of economical Compressed Air Silencers which now feature no less than 25 types of silencer and exhaust restrictor.

The West Group have announced significant additions to their range of economical Compressed Air Silencers which now feature no less than 25 types of silencer and exhaust restrictor.

These silencers offer a noise reduction of up to 40dB when used on valve exhaust ports.

Recent additions to the range include all Stainless Steel silencers and the new "Maxi" series with port sizes up to 2" BSP.

These silencers are suitable for use with pressures up to 12 Bar and temperatures up to 80*C.

In addition, a wide range of filters is available in the form of disc, cone, hat and cylinder profiles.

Materials include brass, steel and stainless steel wire, and, bronze or stainless steel powdered construction.

Filtering is available from 2 to 150 microns with temperatures up to 450C.

Uses include filtering liquids and as flame traps.
