The West Group introduce the TURN-ACT range of Rotary Vane Pneumatic Actuators TURN-ACT rotary actuators offer far more torque than similarly sized traditional rack and pinion actuators

TURN-ACT's patented extrusion combines tube, stator and bolt lobes into a one piece body.

More torque can be generated either by using a longer section of extrusion or by increasing the bore size.

The unique polyurethane seal provides smooth rotation, low pressure breakaway and 25 million cycle life.

TURN-ACT offer models with torque from 1 to 1,000 Newton Metres.

They feature rotations from 90 to 290 degrees, zero backlash, and do not require lubrication.

Various options are available including adjustable stroke control, position sensing switches, a variety of mounting options and shaft styles, and, the ability to use on low pressure hydraulic systems .
