Miniature pneumatic specialist Clippard Minimatic has updated its popular electronic interface valve.

Miniature pneumatic specialist Clippard Minimatic, has updated its popular electronic interface valve.

The range now includes intrinsically safe valves, and a new manifold-mounted normally open version.

These valves are precision-built two- or three-way control valves, using a unique, patented valve principle.

There are no sliding parts; complete poppet travel is a mere 0.18mm (or 0.007in).

As a result, low power consumption and exceptionally long life are major benefits of this design.

With a design life of more than 100 million cycles, many valves have performed in excess of one billion cycles in service.

Clippard electronic valves are quiet in operation, continuously rated and cool running.

They are available with a variety of electrical and air connections, and a choice of three voltages and three flow rates.

The valves' small size makes then well suited to a wide range of applications in biomedical, environmental test equipment, computerised industrial automation and portable systems.
