Exhibition is showcase for technology network
The B2B Midlands exhibition will provide an opportunity for small to medium-sized enterprises to learn more about the many areas of expertise offered by the WMTN.
The West Midlands Technology Network (WMTN) will be on Stand 168 at the B2B Midlands exhibition at the Ricoh Arena on 10th and 11th October 2006.
This event will provide an opportunity for small to medium-sized enterprises to speak to the project partners in person and learn more about the many areas of expertise offered by the WMTN via regional universities, colleges and research centres.
Part-funded by the European Regional Development Fund and the European Social Fund, the GBP 26 million WMTN project is a unique collaboration of eight partners who collectively offer funded engineering product design, manufacturing advice and access to vocational and technical training to eligible SMEs in the West Midlands region.
The WMTN offers state-of-the-art techniques, expert advice and specialist equipment which would not normally be available to smaller companies.
The B2B Midlands exhibition is the place to source new products and services, information, ideas and inspiration to help owners grow their business and profits.
With over 250 top-flight exhibitors and 50 free seminars and workshops B2B Midlands aims to help businesses reduce costs, improve their bottom line, understand the challenges faced during growth and extend knowledge on critical business subjects.
There is an incredible lineup of speakers including Bob Geldolf, successful media businessman and visionary, Richard Duvall, founder of Egg and Zopa and Doug Richards of BBC's "Dragon's Den".
Sara Lines, WMTN Marketing Manager comments: "I decided that the B2B Midlands exhibition was an excellent forum for the WMTN as it puts us in direct contact with many of the small to medium sizes enterprises to which we can offer business assistance and higher-level training".
"The project team really enjoy meeting companies, discussing product development and offering support to help regional SMEs improve their competitive position, profitability and vocational skill base".
"We look forward to welcoming owner-managers to our stand and investigating with them ways in which we can offer real business support".
