The electrical distribution industry commonly accepts that customers regard distributors as a necessary evil.

Last year, WF Electrical took the brave measure of conducting the sector's largest ever customer survey.

It covered 9000 respondents and questioned customers on their needs and how well WF was meeting them.

Commented Richard Rose, managing director of WF Electrical, "Satisfied customers are our most important asset and last year's survey was particularly valuable in identifying areas for improvement.

By repeating the process, we will measure the effectiveness of the improvements we have introduced, as well as developing a picture of the current service levels at every one of our 109 branches".

No other distributor has undertaken such a survey, which is a clear demonstration of WF's commitment to customer satisfaction.

Those receiving a questionnaire are encouraged to complete them to help WF understand where there may be room for improvement.
