The CEAG range of plugs and sockets offer an explosion protected, safe connection for zones 1 and 2 hazardous areas.
The principle feature is a pin and sleeve contact point that offers a high degree of explosion protection due to its low insertion and withdrawal forces, low transition resistances and low thermal loads.
This product offers guaranteed levels of IP66 and IP67 protection reinforced by plug pins coated with high-grade nickel plating.
All other exterior metal parts are made of high quality stainless steel to protect against corrosion.
Even in the event of a direct short circuit, this series of plugs continues to offer the same degree of functionality and explosion protection.
This range also features a cable clamp that prevents accidental disconnections whilst large terminals make it possible to use cables with a wide range of diameters.
Optional auxiliary contacts are available as well as a clip on mounting system with a wide variety of cable entries.
These plugs are 'practice orientated', having been designed with a complete understanding of real hazardous area issues in mind.
Martin Lunel offer a traditional range of IP44 plugs, sockets, connectors and appliance inlets.
The Hypra IEC 309-2 range is designed for the most testing environments from steel mills to petrochemical plants.
