Electrical company tailors invoices to customers
WF Electrical has provided a solution to a problem that has bedevilled accounts departments since time immemorial - namely the tedious business of reconciling invoices against specific orders
Continuing their aim of ever improving customer service, WF Electrical has provided a solution to a problem that has bedevilled accounts departments since time immemorial - namely the tedious business of reconciling invoices against specific orders.
It's a situation that can be even more aggravating with multi-site operations or where a large number of operatives are placing orders for a single company.
Recognising the confusion this can cause, WF has taken the problem by the scruff of the neck and created a facility for its invoices to be tailored to suit specific customer needs.
For example, invoices can be coded by individual site or project, by the engineer who placed the order or even by customer order number.
At a stroke it can reduce confusion.
In yet another bid to make life easier for customers, particularly those whose engineers may be working outside their normal location, WF has introduced a special Account Card.
This card, which can include the customer's logo, a photograph of the cardholder and any other details the customer wishes, authorises the cardholder to make purchases from any WF branch.
Clients can even establish transaction limits for individual cardholders.
Intended for medium sized companies, such as contractors and plant service departments making purchases on behalf of a particular site or project, the WF Account Card scheme has even been taken up by larger customers such as Autoglass and Thames Water.
Customers wishing to take up either facility should contact their local WF branch.
