WF Electrical has appointed two new key staff

New kids on the block: Electrical wholesaler WF Electrical has appointed two new key staff members.

Electrical wholesaler WF Electrical has appointed two new, key, staff members; Ian Morrison has become the new Commercial Director and Jay Patel has become its new Finance Director.

Ian Morrison has 25 years experience in industry and has spent the last 15 years in electrical wholesaling.

His experience was gained in branch management and as SE Regional Director for Newey and Eyre.

His role is to create, develop and manage the company's commercial strategy, through procurement/product management, stock profiling, and marketing, in conjunction with customer and supplier focused value added services.

His objective is to identify, understand and exploit market opportunities by providing an extensive range of products across WF's branch network and combine this with the best electrical wholesale services that are available.

Jay Patel was formerly the Financial Director of UMECO plc, a group of companies operating in the distribution of chemicals to the aerospace and defense industries.

Prior to this he held senior positions with Thermos Ltd.

Patel qualified with Save and Prosper in 1989 and lives in Redbridge, near the Ilford branch of WF Electrical.
