WF Electrical now offer a better range of connectors than ever before, including Cooper House-Hinds new series of CEAG plugs and Martin Lunel's industrial plugs and sockets.
In this period rebates cannot normally be awarded.
However, WF is able to guarantee the rebates thanks to £20,000 that has been made available to the company by the EST.
WF can assist customers wishing to upgrade their lighting to energy saving standards in making Lightswitch rebate applications to the EST.
Similarly, where customers are involved in making new installations or carrying out refurbishments but deicide to install energy efficient lighting, WF can also assist with the necessary surveys required for the rebate application.
Lightswitch rebates are available for a variety of luminaire types, including compact fluorescent lamps with built in control gear and high frequency fluorescent fittings, plus discharge flood lights.
The rebates can be considerable, for example, an upgrade from, say, a 500W tungsten halogen floodlight to a 150W metal halide fitting qualifies through WF for a rebate of ?20.00 per fitting.
The Lightswitch campaign was introduced in an effort to encourage small and medium sized enterprises to upgrade their lighting standards to save energy.
About 75% of all the lighting electricity used by business is consumed by the SME sector.
It is reckoned that a saving of up to 10% can be made by fitting energy efficient lighting.
WF offers a comprehensive range of lighting products, including those within its own Alto brand catalogue, which qualify under the Lightswitch campaign.
There are also many products featured in the company's Lamps and Tubes catalogue which offer guaranteed rebates.
WF has experts who are able to advise customers on what fittings may be used and which qualify for rebates.
