WF Electrical has provided the props for a new BBC drama, 'Waking the Dead', a gripping, contemporary drama series for BBC One, due for broadcast in July The programme stars Trevor Eve (most famous as TV detective Shoestring) alongside Holly Aird (Soldier, Soldier), Claire Goose (Casualty), Sue Johnston (The Royle Family) and Wil Johnson (Clocking Off)

Filming for this series was completed early this year although a one off film was shown on BBC One last October.

Mick Roof manager of the City branch of WF Electrical said, "We are pleased to be working with the BBC on this project, for us it's very exciting.

We have been providing them with props for the set; I think they are building an electrician's yard.

Lets just hope we don't get incriminated into the crime!" WF provided everything from Alto catalogues to 75ml cable tray to make the TV set look realistic.

The project is a gritty police drama set in London and was filmed in Bethnal Green, near the City branch of WF.

It revolves around unsolved murder cases, which test the resolve of the Cold Case team who use new methods in forensic science and psychological profiling, to unearth clues in a bid to track down the killer.

Det Supt Boyd (Trevor Eve) plays the driven, dynamic, leader of the crack squad of investigators under pressure to come up with results.
