Location guide finds electrical wholesalers

A WF Electrical product story
Edited by the Engineeringtalk editorial team May 20, 2002

WF Electrical has published a handy pocket guide complete with individual maps for each of its 96 branches.

A chance conversation at the West Bromwich branch of electrical wholesaler WF Electrical has lead to the company publishing a handy pocket guide complete with individual maps for each of its 96 branches.

An engineer from Quatrolex, based in Leyland, Lancashire, happened to comment that as he frequently worked in unfamiliar territory, one of his biggest problems was the time wasted in locating the local branch of a wholesaler with which his company had an account and that such a directory would be particularly useful.

When Michael Perry, a director of Quatrolex was asked his opinion of the directory that came about as a result of his firm's comments.

He said: "The lads out on site frequently can't find a wholesaler for last minute or unforeseen needs".

He added: "They can spend ages looking on occasion and this little booklet will be a great help in saving time".

The booklet which includes a map, address, telephone and fax numbers and the branch manager's name of every WF branch in the UK is available now.
