Rainwater technology handbook for green practice

A Wilo (UK) product story
Edited by the Engineeringtalk editorial team Aug 20, 2002

Wilo Salmson has published a new "Rainwater technology handbook".

As part of its long-term commitment to improve environmental awareness and to take specific action to help customers minimise the impact of their activities on the environment, Wilo Salmson has published a new "Rainwater technology handbook".

Designed to help all professionals involved in the planning and management of water resources, including government, planning, research and manufacturing organisations, the new handbook provides a wealth of information and data, plus contributions from leading experts in the field.

This A4 full colour publication is hard bound and runs to over 150 pages.

The content includes examples of best practice from around the world, real-life case studies, technical sections, facts and figures, plus data on the latest collection, pipe, pumping and filtration technology.

Mark Sowden, Wilo Salmson's UK Marketing Manager, explains that: "Environmental issues have always played a core role in the company's business practices.

In recent years, this emphasis has grown even stronger, with initiatives that help both us and our customers make a difference in the real world.

For example, we've launched rainwater recycling systems and extremely energy efficient pumps; we've made dramatic changes to our own manufacturing systems to reduce pollution, energy consumption and emissions; and we've led the way in sponsoring awards to encourage best environmental practice.

This new handbook is now the latest tool to help end users turn operating and planning theories into practices that are viable, both commercially and environmentally".

The new Rainwater Technology Handbook costs GBP 35.00.
