Winters Instruments has continued its aggressive expansion strategy with the acquisition of Commercial Thermowell Company of Richmond, Virginia, USA.

Winters Instruments has continued its aggressive expansion strategy with the acquisition of Commercial Thermowell Company of Richmond, Virginia, USA.

Commercial Thermowell is a manufacturer of thermowells and custom machined parts.

Commercial Thermowells' product line features a vast array of standard and custom thermowells including: standard threaded, threaded heavy duty, standard flanged, heavy duty flanged, van stone type, socket-weld type, weld-in type, sanitary weld-in type and test thermowells.

The purchase of Commercial Thermowell is the fourth acquisition in the last 60 days announced by the Winters Corporation.

In June 2002, Winters acquired Rhomberg of Capetown, South Africa, Rhomberg Electronica of Buenos Aires, Argentina and Aquapay of South Africa.
