A new overpressure protector can be used to protect pressure instruments from surges and pulsations.

A new overpressure protector can be used to protect pressure instruments from surges and pulsations.

This instrument can commonly be found in heavy industrial environments including; oil and gas, chemical, pulp and paper etc.

Setpoint adjustments can be made on this instrument by manipulating an external adjusting screw and lock nut.

The overpressure protector will automatically shut off the pressure to the instrument, once the setpoint has been exceeded.

Winters' overpressure protector is available in bellows and piston types.

It has a 316 stainless-steel construction with a 0.25 x 0.25 or 0.5 x 0.5in NPT connection.

The burst pressure of this instrument is 68,948kPa.
