Adjustable snubber protects measurement kit

A Winters Instruments product story
Edited by the Engineeringtalk editorial team Oct 23, 2003

A new adjustable snubber significantly reduces the damaging effects of pulsation on pressure gauges, transducers, transmitters, manometers and pressure switches.

A new adjustable snubber significantly reduces the damaging effects of pulsation, by changing the amount of restriction, on pressure gauges, transducers, transmitters, manometers and pressure switches, prolonging the life of the pressure instrument.

The Winters adjustable snubber will help to improve the reading accuracy of the instrument.

Adjustments to the valve can be made while the snubber is in service.

Adjustable snubbers are available with 316 stainless steel or brass construction with a 0.25in male x female or a 0.5in male x female NPT connection.

Common applications that would use an adjustable snubber include: pumps, compressors, hydraulic presses or fluid power applications.
