Widney UK has been awarded the prestigious Business of the Year award at the annual banquet of the Birmingham and Solihull chamber of commerce.
Birmingham based Widney UK, a long established company in Midlands manufacturing and Europe's premier manufacturer of telescopic slides, was recently awarded the prestigious Business of the Year award at the annual banquet of the Birmingham and Solihull chamber of commerce The award is given to the company best suited to meeting the following criteria: embracing modern practices; creating new and quality jobs; launching new products and services; and triumph in overseas markets
The chamber states that the award is presented to the company that can demonstrate "powerful and measurable results such as additional sales, access to new markets or enhanced productivity and profitability".
