Widney has appointed Brian Mark Stringer as Group Managing Director.
Widney has appointed Brian Mark Stringer, aged 42, as Group Managing Director, and a Director of Widney with immediate effect.
This appointment substantially strengthens the operational management of the group and will take effect from 9th January 2006.
Joe Grimmond will revert to nonexecutive Chairman.
Brian Stringer joins Widney from Siemens Industrial Power where he was Global Production and Engineering Director from 2001.
Prior to that, he was Divisional Managing Director (Manufacturing) at SGB.
From 1994 to 1999 he held a number of positions with Williams Security Products UK as Operations Director Valor Heating, Operations Director Yale Security Products and Group Operations Director.
Joe Grimmond, Chairman, commented: "We are delighted that Brian has agreed to join Widney".
