Edited by the Engineeringtalk editorial team Dec 11, 2006

Wilcoxon Research has announced that the company has completed the relocation of its headquarters to Germantown, Maryland, with operations at the new facility commencing on 4 December 2006

The relocation from Gaithersburg, Maryland, includes Wilcoxon's factory and administrative offices.

The new site is located in the Seneca Meadows Technology Park, approximately six miles from Wilcoxon's current location.

The facility comprises a state of the art manufacturing and office complex designed to Wilcoxon's specifications.

The phased relocation of equipment, processes and people began in November.

Wilcoxon has prepared a detailed schedule for the move, including a planned inventory build schedule to ensure that no customer deliveries are impacted due to the relocation.

The new manufacturing facility will enhance Wilcoxon's ability to carry out the company's commitments to innovation and manufacturing excellence, and the new state of the art facility positions Wilcoxon to continue its growth for many years to come.
