The range of clamps from Wixroyd International has been further enhanced by the addition of the Taper Clamp, number 1243.

Small in size but with excellent clamping powers the holding size of this low - profile clamp, is in fact many times greater than the load imposed by machine forces.

The main feature of this popular clamp is its cross-wedge construction in both the horizontal and the vertical plane.

It is this feature that ensures the taper clamp is locked firmly in every direction as it is tightened down.

As a result, all possibility of measurement error due to sliding is eradicated.

The low-profile design of Wixroyd's taper clamp also enables flexible three-directional machining of workpieces with one fastening.

Made of high quality, tool steel, both the wedge and jaws are through hardened.
