New UK reseller for Ansys FE software
Wilde and Partners has been appointed resellers for the Ansys range of finite element products to complement the existing product range which consists of Nisa, Diana, Deform, Autoform and Plaxis
Wilde and Partners, the Stockport based Engineering Consultants, have been appointed resellers for the Ansys range of finite element products from Ansys Ansys, headquartered at Southpointe in Canonsburg, Pennsylvania, strives to meet the software requirements for the entire engineering enterprise that is created by today's competitive marketplace

Their involvement with Ansys dates back over 15 years, and it has been used for many consulting projects since that time, particularly for projects for the nuclear industry.
W and P recommend and supply CAE options to clients.
These options include; the supply of appropriate software tools and hardware for use in-house, W and P undertaking projects on their behalf, tailored training courses, technical support packages, and the recruitment of CAE staff.
This 'options approach' is popular with customers and allows W and P to make neutral unbiased recommendations.
The director of Wilde and Partners', finite element division is David Deakin.
His comments about the appointment were: "With the addition of Ansys to our portfolio of CAE products we are able to satisfy the increasing demands from our customers, such as, integrating FEA with CAD systems, using DesignSpace, and undertaking increasingly complex problems, using Ansys/Multiphysics.
