Wilde and Partners will host "A review of FEA for the onshore and offshore oil and gas industry" on 24th October 2002, at the Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre.

Presentations will be made by a number of experience engineers, including Trevor Hodgson, Visiting Professor, Universities of Glasgow and Strathclyde.

The seminar will focus on current usage and future trends for FEA, including the discussions and demonstrations on how designs may be optimised by adopting 'upfront' analysis, an overview of fire and blast loading considerations, and the application of multi- physics to oil and gas applications.

The seminar will also include a demonstration and case studies, based on Ansys and DesignSpace.

The event is aimed at engineers, designers, analysts and managers who wish to learn more about the latest advanced in finite element analysis software.

The presentations will be relevant to current and potential users of finite element software and associated consulting services.
