Consultancy focuses on mechanical design

Wilde Mechanical is a new company set up to provide a full range of mechanical design services, from concept design to post production.

The Wilde Group of Stockport, Cheshire, has launched a new company - Wilde Mechanical.

The Wilde Group comprises multidisciplined engineering consulting services, including finite element analysis products and services, civil/structural engineering design and recruitment services.

Wilde Mechanical will provide a full range of mechanical design services, from concept design to post production.

The staff include five former employees of a leading construction equipment manufacturer, who between them have over 60 man years experience.

In addition to design services based on 3D CAD, the company also offers state-of-the-art virtual reality services.

Working in conjunction with Wilde FEA, Wilde Mechanical will provide a unique combination of simulation-led design, where the performance and integrity of designs may be assessed throughout the design process, allowing innovation and ensuring efficient designs.

The Director of Wilde Mechanical, Alan Maris, says: "We believe that we will satisfy a growing need in the mechanical engineering market place for a company who provide design solutions which satisfy customers' expectations and give them a competitive advantage".
