Metric size steel universal joints with friction bearings and needle bearings are available in single or double jointed versions.

JW Winco has announced the availability of metric size steel universal joints with friction bearings and needle bearings.

The joints are available in single or double jointed versions.

These universal joints are known for their precision.

They offer minimal play and are long lasting.

The allowable rotational speeds are dependent on load, duration, angular disposition, and lubrication.

In ideal applications joints with friction bearings allow for speeds up to 1000rev/min, whereas those with needle bearings are designed for applications up to 4000rev/min.

The universal joints are made of carbon steel, with joint bearing surfaces, pins, and bearing sleeves case hardened.

Universal joints with friction bearing are available in bore sizes of 6 to 32mm, and the needle bearing versions are available with bore sizes ranging from 10 to 32mm.
