Hollow knurled nuts have tapped through inserts of zinc plated steel for protection.
JW Winco now offers hollow knurled nuts in both inch and metric sizes.
The knurled nuts are made of black nylon plastic with a smooth, glossy finish, and have tapped through inserts of zinc plated steel, moulded in.
On clamping applications, the partially protruding insert prevents chipping of the plastic.
