Patented Meco custom shaft seals from the Woodex Bearing Company are available fully split for use with machinery such as mixers, blenders, conveyors, and reactors, where direct product contact is required.
Seals are easily removed and replaced for bench sanitising and are available in FDA-approved materials.
Designed for problem applications where traditional packings fail to seal, Meco seals reliably contain dry powders, pastes and fluids, even in applications with worn or bent shafts, shaft misalignment and runout.
Meco seals will accommodate significant radial and angular shaft misalignment and shock loads, as well as thermal growth in high-temperature process machinery.
Simple to adjust and maintain, Meco seals also can protect shafts from abrasion damage.
