Meco custom-engineered shaft seals will be on show at the Gulf Coast Solids Handling and Processing Show on 5th and 6th April 2005.

The exposition will take place at the Pasadena Convention Centre in Pasadena, Texas (in greater Houston).

The show is sponsored by the Houston Material Handling Society, a technical chapter of the South Texas Section of the ASME.

Booth 411 will feature the original high-runout tolerance seals for screw conveyors, mixers, blenders, vacuum dryers, agitators and similar rotating processing machinery.

Meco offers fully split seals for quick installation and rebuilding, without wasting time to remove bearings or drives.

These patented seals provide a long-lasting alternative to packing on dry processing equipment in the food, pharmaceutical, chemical, plastics and mineral industries, often improving equipment function.

Capable of accommodating 6mm and more of diametric shaft runout, Meco seals also protect shafts from abrasion damage.

Sanitary models can be quickly removed for bench sanitising and reinstalled as often as necessary.

Joe T Bowers Company, the Texas regional distributor for Meco seals, will be on hand at the show to arrange for seal consultation calls.
