Meco's AH-series custom seals are ideal for dry, abrasive powder processes in food, chemical and pharmaceutical industries, where frequent product changes and washdowns are required.

Available split or unsplit, these patented seals are designed to simplify installation, routine cleaning and maintenance.

Seals can be fitted with flush water inlet and drain ports.

AH seals can be retrofitted onto ribbon blenders, paddle mixers, dryers, screw conveyors, bucket elevators and similar rotating machinery.

Split models can be easily installed without removing the bearing or drive.

The seals incorporate a simple adjustment mechanism and monitoring provisions, allowing operators to perform preventative maintenance before any product leakage can occur.

Heavy stainless plate stators ensure long life, despite extensive handling.

All Meco seals are custom-engineered to accommodate 6mm and more of diametric shaft run-out.

As the self-compensating driving elastomer is the seal's only interface with the shaft, the AH seal accommodates significant radial shaft misalignment and shock loads, as well as thermal growth in high-temperature process machinery.

The elastomer also protects the shaft from abrasion damage.
