The Woehner universal busbar system is claimed to significantly reduce costly design, assembly and wiring time.
At the same time it is said that it offers electrical engineers, the flexibility to replace motor starter modules without incurring expensive downtime and by the use of special adaptors, allows the system to be totally re-configured at any time in the future.
The specification of the enclosures, not only offer panel builders greater time saving, convenience and flexibility, but also potential cost savings by users not having to individually order and stock, a whole range of expensive electrical components and enclosure accessories claimed Woehner.
The Woehner system is fitted directly to the mounting plate within the enclosure with cable or flexibar risers feeding the individual systems.
Connections between the risers and the busbars are made with standard clamp-on terminal plates, which totally eliminate the need for drilling, which would be a requirement with conventional busbar systems.
The system is also claimed to reduce the amount of space, trunking and cabling required because the distribution or control gear mounts directly over the busbar system on a range of universal busbar adaptors.
Mark Greaves, ETA (UK's) general manager commented: "The trend towards one-supplier integration, will further underline the position of ETA (UK) as a real alternative provider of top quality, complete enclosure solutions.
Woehner is well established and respected in its own markets for supplying an across the range offer of electrical power distribution systems and this partnership can only promote and strengthen both our brands across our respective markets.".
