Recently appointed overseas distributor for Wolf Safety have been responsible for a major upsurge in sales of the company's compressed air and electric safety lamps

Particularly suitable for working in confined spaces where explosive atmospheres might accumulate, the BASEEFA approved Wolf Airturbo and Turbolite lamps are widely utilised in the marine, oil, and petrochemical industries which necessitate a safe and reliable high quality light source for numerous maintenance and inspection tasks Windsor Marine, appointed last year as Wolf's agent for South East Asia, has now ordered over 200 Airturbo lamps, and Dacon, the new Norwegian agent has commenced purchasing Wolf Air lamps for its important offshore market

Now also, one of the Russian merchant marine fleet of tankers is being equipped with Airturbo lamps via its agent Nova Shipping.

Furthermore, in the Middle East, Oilfield Services and Trade in Qatar have taken significant consignments of Airturbo lamps from Wolf for ultimate use by the Qatar General Petroleum Company and Qatar Gas, which operates the world's single largest gas field.

The Airturbo A-0444 lamp is fitted with a bay light type head to a common generator, providing all round illumination when the lamp is suspended above the work area.

The moulded well glass containing the bulb is surrounded by a protective polycarbonate dome.

The Airturbo A-0445 provides a flood beam giving a well diffused 30deg angle of light with the standard matt reflector, or with a polished reflector, a highly concentrated spotlight.

The lamp has a 15mm toughened glass lens for higher impact strength and pressure resistance.

The Turbolite Type 44, with 360deg illumination and the Type 45 with a reflector head fitting for direct floodlit illumination have been developed from the established Airturbo.

The 24 volt, 250 watt tungsten halogen bulb is available in two versions, offering a light source choice of either 6000 lumens for 2000 hours or 9000 for 200 hours.

Like the Airturbo lamps, the housing of the Turbolites are spark-free cast brass, and in use can be suspended using the forged brass safety hook.

Internal components are of durable design to ensure that they will withstand the harshest industrial environments. Request free introductory details about products from Wolf Safety Lamp Company ...
