Lamps shed light on hazardous areas
Wolf Safety has expanded its range with the addition of a proven range of high-output flameproof leadlamps.
The T4 temperature class models, approved for use with alkaline cells and available with long life halogen or xenon bulbs, offer up to 13 hours light output.
The top of the range T4+ halogen model, providing maximum light output, is fitted with a low power indicator, highlighting when battery capacity is low.
Alternatively, the T6 models comply with the most stringent of safety requirements for use in any Zone 1 or 2 Hazardous Area, zinc cells giving a five hour light span.
Both Wolf Safety's T4 and T6 models are available in straight or right angle torch versions.
Battery and bulb replacement is simple, there is even a spare bulb fitted into the bulb holder for convenience.
All torches are supplied with a wrist strap and metal split ring.
Right angle models are fitted with a high-strength thermoplastic clip for hands free operation.
Other features across the range of six models include a high-grip ergonomic design and single-handed switching, even with gloved hands.
Torch enclosures are robust and compact with proven impact and chemical resistant properties.
The hard coated polycarbonate lens is shatterproof, scratch and chemical resistant; the quality parabolic reflector provides a useful medium angle, and long distance beam.
Ingress protection to IP67 ensures all models are fully dust tight and protected from immersion in water.
Competitively priced, these new versatile torches from Wolf Safety, the company with the world's leading range of portable safety lighting products, will have great appeal for use in hazardous areas throughout Europe and the rest of the world.
